How to Build a Consistent Putting Set Up Routine: Putting Practice Perfected w/Jennah Part 3
One of the biggest keys to becoming a better putter is learning how to set up the same way every time and building a routine you can trust. In Part 3 of Putting Practice Perfected, I’m working with Jennah on exactly that. We talk through the importance of getting comfortable over the ball, setting up with purpose, and developing a consistent routine. When your setup routine becomes second nature, it’s easier to make a confident stroke and focus on the line and speed instead of feeling rushed or uncertain.
Using the Delta Putt helps you start to visualize the line from the ball to the hole. As you practice with the Delta Putt, you begin to see that line more clearly and use an intermediate target to help square your face angle and roll the ball on the path you want it to travel. Once you get out on the green, that same idea carries over. Instead of just hoping the ball starts on the right line, you have a clear target in front of you and a better understanding of how to roll the ball over that spot and toward the hole with confidence as you visualize using the Delta Putt.
